AUSTRALIA TOURIST VISA
Overview
The Visitor visa (subclass 600) is for applicants whose primary purpose of travel to Australia is for tourism, meeting family of friends, attend a wedding and other social functions and recreational events.
The Australia Tourist Visa is an E-Visa (not a sticker visa endorsed on the passport).
Once a positive decision is taken by the Australian High Commission, your E-Visa is sent to the registered Email ID stated on the visa application form.
Visa Process

Payment of applicable visa and biometric fee.
Step 4:
Scheduling the case submission appointments.
Step 5:
Collating all relevant documents including all financial related documents.

Sponsors documents.

15 working days post submission of application.

Documents Required
- Passport COPY (entire booklet) with minimum 6 months validity and two available blank pages.

- Statement of purpose outlining the intent /reason for travel, travel itinerary, applicants profile etc.
- Evidence of employment / business.
- Evidence of income, savings and investments.
- Evidence of leave approval.
- Sponsorship documents from India (if applicable).
- Sponsorship documents from Australia (if applicable).
- Marriage certificate, children’s birth certificate (if applicable).
- ID docs.
- Travel itinerary.
- Travel / Medical insurance to cover duration of trip (recommended).

Passport must be valid for at least 6 months prior to application and have two available blank pages.
It is at the discretion of the visa officer at the Embassy if they wish to call you in for a personal interview or not.
No form of employment is permitted on a Business / Tourist visa.

Visa fee is valid for 365 days from the date of payment.

Once paid, this visa fee is neither refundable nor is it transferable to anyone else.
Tourist visa is for those applicants whose primary purpose of travel is tourism, meet friends or family, attend social and recreational functions etc.
Business visa is for those applicants whose primary purpose of travel is for official business, attend meetings, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, trainings etc.
SUBMISSION PROCESS
Applicants need to submit their completed visa application form and supporting documents in person, with prior appointment, at the Visa Application Center or submit the case online through ImmiAccount.
