Eligibility
To be eligible for a UK Business Visa, applicants must demonstrate that they:
- Intend to visit the UK for a short stay, typically up to 6 months.
- Are visiting for business-related activities such as attending meetings, conferences, or training.
- Have sufficient funds to support themselves during their stay without accessing public funds.
- Plan to leave the UK at the end of their visit.

- Attending meetings or conferences.
- Negotiating and signing deals and contracts.
- Undertaking site visits and inspections.
- Giving a one-off or short series of talks and speeches (provided these are not for profit).
- Attending trade fairs, promotional events, and exhibitions.
Visa Process
Step 1:
Completing online / application form and other supplementary forms.
Step 2:
Creating online case profile.
Step 3:
Payment of applicable visa & biometric fee.
Step 4:
Scheduling the case submission appointments.
Step 5:
Collating all relevant documents including all financial related documents.
Step 6:
Sponsors documents.
Step 7:
Procuring business invite and supporting documents from the UK.
Step 8:
Appearing for the visa interview (if called).
Step 9:
Collection of passport.

Frequently asked questions
Tourist visa is for those applicants whose primary purpose of travel is tourism, meet friends or family, attend social and recreational functions etc.
Business visa is for those applicants whose primary purpose of travel is for official business, attend meetings, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, trainings etc.
It is at the discretion of the visa officer at the Embassy if they wish to call you in for a personal interview or not.
Biometric Requirments
All applicants have to appear in person in order to provide biometric data (fingerprints and digital photograph) at the scheduled visa submission appointment.
